Donna Ridgway

Donna Ridgway is the Lead Local Authority Delivery Manager within HM Land Registry’s (HMLR’s) Local Land Charges (LLC) Programme. Donna is responsible for preparing local authorities to transfer their LLC service onto HMLR’s central, digital LLC register. Donna also works with key customers and stakeholders to highlight the benefits of the service to the market. This includes Local Enterprise Partnerships to support regional strategies and agendas, identifying new uses for LLC data.

HMLR’s LLC register is improving the homebuying process by providing conveyancers and customers with a single, instantly accessible place to check restrictions or prohibitions on the use of land and property in England and Wales.

Transforming textual data into geospatial records with digital maps of the land makes the local land charge information more transparent. The standard format makes the information easier to digest, search, compare and merge with other datasets, enabling decision-makers to make faster, more informed judgements about their projects.
