Rupert Cohen

Rupert has a successful property and chancery practice allied with a specialist knowledge of costs law. Rupert was appointed Junior Counsel to the Crown (Attorney General’s B Panel) in 2020 and is an ADR Accredited Mediator. Rupert is active in the field of cost litigation and is well respected for his skills regarding detailed assessments. He regularly appears before the SCCO and the Court of Appeal and is also a panel mediator for costs alternative dispute resolution. His work includes advising on the recovery of after-the-event premiums and wasted costs as well as solicitor liens and Part 36 offers.
