Ian Johnson

Ian is a qualified accountant and works closely with professional practices, especially law firms.

He has considerable experience in law firms on all aspects of financial reporting and accounting matters, including statutory accounts and audit issues. He regularly advises law firms on the SRA Accounts Rules, financial and regulatory compliance, restructuring, internal management reporting and financial forecasting.

Ian lectures extensively on matters of financial management and compliance and is Chair of the The Institute of Legal Finance and Management (ILFM), and is Vice Chair of the ICAEW Solicitors’ Community Committee.
