Tim Smith

Tim Smith is the Managing Director at Insight Legal Software and former Chair of the Legal Software Suppliers Association (LSSA).

Tim has over 25 years of experience in Legal IT, and is a regular commentator and thought leader on legal software, compliance, legal finance and change management. Throughout his career, Tim has worked with thousands of law firms to design, deliver and support software solutions that make legal practices thrive.

Now the MD at Insight Legal Software, Tim is well known for his customer-focused ethic and his skill in bringing high quality but affordable software to law firms, helping practices to achieve compliance, efficient business management and streamlined processes. He is passionate about making a real difference to the everyday lives of legal practitioners and ensuring they realise the value that legal software can bring to the modern workplace.

Outside of work, Tim is a budding master chef, an enthusiastic rugby and cricket fan, and the proud father of two frighteningly grown-up children.
