This session will help anyone involved writing wills and advising on succession/inheritance where an individual is Scottish or there are Scottish assets. Will writers, solicitors, legacy administrators, financial advisers and others will find it useful.

We will cover key legislation such as the Succession (Scotland) Act 1964 and updates to it including the Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Act 2024. Beyond that we will consider Scottish specific rules such as legal rights.

The webinar will cover vital intestacy rules as well as important points in making a will. That includes how to validly sign a Scottish will.
