This session will look at the common issues that arise in practice, how to deal with them and the risks to both clients and practitioners if the issues arise.

Learning Objectives:

  • What happens to a property after death?
  • How is a property transferred after death?
  • What if there are people in occupation of the Deceased’s property?
  • How do you deal with impact of delays in the probate administration in the context of a property?
  • What if a property is in a state of disrepair?
  • What if executors can’t agree?
