The Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 was supposed to deal with many issues in property but the issues caused by section 121 of the Law of Property Act 1925 actually remain.
As widely reported in the media, swathes of properties across the UK have rent charges attached to them making some difficult to sell or re-finance.
