This session seeks to provide delegates with an overview of all aspects of the current law in relation to whistle blowers.
It will consider the various legal components required to bring a claim in the Employment Tribunal, e.g. worker status, the nature of a qualifying disclosure, how a qualifying disclosure becomes a protected disclosure.
It also addresses the statutory concepts of detriment & dismissal, as well as considering the remedies available following a successful claim.
