As we have seen, working from home has so many recognised benefits. However, the disadvantages of are only just starting to surface.
Whether you are an employee, employer or self-employed it is important to be aware of all of the potential pitfalls of remote working including loss of motivation, loss of productivity, loss of community and social interaction, increased loneliness, blur red lines between home and work, feelings of isolation, breakdown in communications, difficulties in maintaining accountability and IT security concerns including threat of cybercrime.
