In this on-demand session, Simon McCrossan explains how the law defines harassment at work. He analyses how the law imposes liability on employers and individual parties.
Considering statute, case law and relevant guidance, Simon examines what defences are available to those accused of harassment. He also outlines the alternative causes of action in harassment outside of the Equality Act 2010, via the Protection of Harassment Act which also may be of some relevance to potential workplace claims.

Simon specialises in employment disputes. He holds a specialist LL.M in Employment Law (Distinction) and estimates that he has advised on hundreds of unfair dismissal and discrimination matters alone for large panel insurers.
